I'm sure he wouldn't be sitting up just seconds after having a heart attack.
Do you think he played on?:lolol:

Well apparently the player in question, SV Roeselare’s Anthony Van Loo was aware he had a heart condition and had been fitted with an implanted defibrillator.

The device automatically delivers a shock four seconds after the heart arrests. Watch his legs after he collapses which would seem to indicate he received an electric shock - amazing but apparently true :clap:

Anthony Van Loo is a young Belgian defender, who currently plays for SV Roeselare in the Jupiler League.
Around June 2008 he was diagnosed with a heart condition, but was allowed to resume his career after having a defibrillator implanted in him
  • In 2007 he was called up to the U-23 International Challenge Trophy Squad.
A video clip showing Van Loo's defibrillator at work, shocking his heart back into rhythm after he had suffered a heart attack during a match, was posted to YouTube on June 8 2009.
