Being Brave?

Gus has, from day one talked about players being brave, accepting responsibility of the ball, caring for the ball and creating a passing style here at Brighton.

I thank Gus for this, for eventually,we as a club will benefit from this and when we reach the premier league we will stay there.

But will, after he hinted at taking risks to obtain more wins,be brave? Today?

What formation/system changes will we see,if any.

I think he'll play CMS and Ulloa today.

Have a good feeling Gus will go for it. S**t or bust.
And maybe play Vicente from the start?

Totally agree, it's not just about the players but also Gus being brave. I think we have to accecpt as fans that to be more postive we need to lose a holding player and push on.

With Barnesy suspended for 3 games Gus will be able to see the positives of playing two decent strikers up front with support from the wingers.

I sincerely hope I'm wrong, but having seen Vicente at Sheffield last week, I'm not sure his heart is in it any more.
Would love to be proved completely wrong by a sparkling performance from him today.

Vicente has said that he doesn't like it oop north, it's too cold.
Whereas we're having a positive heatwave down here.

I think he just doesn't do away games.

Vicente has played great against shit teams ie.... Ipswich, Pompey, Derby but I want him to do it in a game against a good side like Hull. We'll see.

Buckley out injured ? Hamstrings made of parmesan that boy. Think it will be Dave and Andy out wide.

From reading this thread are we looking at playing 4-4-2 with Ulloa and CMS up top and two wingers. If that is the case where does Vicente fit in as he is better in the hole between attack and midfield.

I look forward with interest as to how much "risk" will be afforded to a side like Hull today,or will caution remain..

I would seriously go for it today. Hull are a good team, but so are we. We have fantastic players in our squad, we should be going into our home games fully intent on winning. CMS and Ulloa cost £££ each, play them together and bosh, away we go.

We are not down. Time to take a risk. We are at home. If we go down fighting, at least we will have tried.

Having said that, Hull we be very difficult to break down.

Early goal please lads. You will have a, mostly drunk, crowd behind you. Let's go for it!

Maybe if Buckley does turn out to be available I'd go

Buckley-----Dave-----Orlandi and bring on Kaz at around the 60th minute
