I would rather not pay and watch football like yesterday than spend 20 quid for a view that's definitely not 20 times better.

IF i was to win, i'd be chuffed, whatever the view.

and its not a lot worse than anywhere else.got a great view of cox's goal and a few other more unfortunate events.
its not as good as the northstand back row near midway seat i got for boston but at least the argus arranged for it not to rain.

I was talking to someone who was in there for Saturdays game, he said it wasn't a bad view as he was in the back row.

Yeh, the further back you are the better the view is - same applies in pretty much every block at Withdean

Are those what you can win in The Argus? f***'s sake. :jester: Sat there a few years ago against Reading (the 3-1) and the view is SHOCKING. Close enough to abuse the away fans, though.

someone tell safeway they have moved the away fans to that new bit you can see in the picture.

i sat in V blaock against Reading, when Forster pushed the ball in the net in the far end, only found out that he did that was a guy next to me who rung his mate who was watching it on sky, i dont think much of the view

In fairness, i was in J block that night, right in line with the incident, yet didn't see anything wrong with it!

I too experienced the view that is V Block.

Not as good as my normal North Stand view but certainly reasonable given it enabled me to take my son for nothing. Great view of Cox's goal and half the Crewe ones, especially when Henderson decided to play the old one-two off their forward.

Haven't a clue whether it was a penalty/sending off though.

The old crone behind me didn't realise it was a penalty until the guy was running up to the ball!!

The Argus picture of "their" stand made me laugh, to look at it you would think it was a proper stand. They couldn't get much closer if they were sitting on someones lap to take it!
