Been away - any news on Falmer ?

I've been away for 11 days with no access to the web so I've missed any news over that time.

I've searched through several pages and seen a few negative threads re Falmer. Has anything of interest been announced/hinted at or is it just reaction to some comments from LDC/Baker?

Nah, it's all sorted. We finished building it last Sunday and played our first game there last night. A thrilling 6-0 victory over Man U. Was quite fun really. We presented LDC with a plaque before the game for being so helpful.

Basically add 7 weeks on to when you were planning to go to your first game there.

Best go away for another couple of weeks and we'll be in the champions league then.

I agree - but some are worried about the danger of the inquiry being reopened yet again, which would might add 6 months-plus.

It's not clear what the odds of this are though.

Still iturning turgidly in the eternal cycle of extending deadlines & considering alternative sites just to be really REALLY sure & knee-jerk objections. Same as it ever was. & probably always will be, while the club exists.

My initial reaction after seeing a couple of the threads was that something had happened which wasn't good news for Falmer. At least I'm reassured now (relatively).
