BBC compiled the top 60 streamed and downloaded Beatles songs over the weekend. I think I'm right in saying their library became available in 2010 but the top ten surprised me.

OK I’m going to look in a mo. I am willing to bet it’s some McCartney dirge

Edit could I have been more wrong? But the McCartney dirges did make nos 2 and 3

Interesting as most of these would have been selected by a newer generation. Having listened to their music for most of my life the order of all the songs on the list is way off my my thinking. I have to say I’ve enjoyed the recent Esther tapes White Album. The anniversary stuff on Radio 2 will allow another generation to appreciate their music.
