He claims when question'ed from Ian that abeamback is out of the question due to excuse me "time & Logistic's" "we only have what 4 days to go". Earlier on in the phone in he stated that they new they would have a ticket nightmare as soon as the draw was made, well Mr Perry how many weeks ago was that!

Also I still cant believe SCR could only get 8 caller's on in 1 hour.

Well you can whine all you want but imagine how many Spurs fans would have been pissed off if we were the home club. Get over it, we'll get hammered and the edithighlights will be on MOTD.

The home club need to give permission and the game isn't quite sold out yet (according to MP earlier, must confess I thought it was).

Beamback would appease a lot of us. They have had ages (at least amonth) to arrange this. Very poor show by the club.

Club was never going to please everyone.

A beamback would probably cost the club a fair bit. Money they dont have.

Get over it.

The last time the club did beamback there were only a few people there and it costs money.

I'm a STH and I can't believe that Perry and Dick Tight won't pay for a personal beamback to my house. When I asked why they said they wouldn't simply because I'd got my f***ing arse in gear and applied for a ticket in time, thereby getting one.

Tch.

Last time there was a beam-back (alright the only time), Leeds chipped in a wedge for the costs. Where is the benefit for Tottenham to do the same? It's just not cost-effective.

Now if the game was at Withdean, that's a different matter, innit?

I went to an away game in 1957 and wher's my f***ing away ticket for Spurs?

In some other fuckers pockets.

The board should be ashamed of themselves. I've spent 4 shillings and 3three pence watching this club and whast am I given ??

f*** all.

Unbelievable. I used to go to the Gald Stone and I went to Maidstones ground when we shares there. And as for the new ground at Rottingdean, well I just shant bother.

I'm lucky enough to have a ticket, but I think they've made a hash of this.
If when sending out the rejction letters they put in a bit about a beam back and say it costing a fiver, a load of people would've been gutted, but maybe not as much and I bet loads of people would've turned up.
I know tons of people pissed off, but if you complain on this board all you get is stick at the moment or nobs telling you to get over it.

It was not just us involved.

1. Spurs had to give the go ahead
2. We had to find a venue that was free and big enough
3. That venue then had to get permisson from their board
4. We would need to arrange stewards etc
5. The beam back alone was going to cost £20000 that means even at £10 each you would need 2000 and still lose out since you would have to pay for hire of venue, stewards etc.
6. During the Christmas week they would have had to test the beamback system

Since the last beemback for the Leeds game, the cost of which was sharred with Leeds lost money, you work it out.

The above reply is comprehensive and well versed, again I ask why wasnt that the reply given by the CEO, instead of "it's too late now with only four day's to go !"
