Ti's exiting to see that Mr Clapton may be entertaining us Brighton folk in the near future. I hope this goes ahead although it has to get past the council first.

That would be alright to We MUST get one somewhere in the city if we make the semi final's and beyond. I can just imagine a hot summers day on the beach with thousands of people watching England win on penalties in the Semi's queuing mass running bombs into a sea of salt and Carlsberg.

The chances of that happening are as slim as Nigel Farage visiting Runcorn but I'll settle for the Festival.

If by northerners you mean them Croydon folk then I see what you mean. I can't see them putting a big screen up there what with the heavy congestion generated form such landmarks as Nestle headquarters.

I didn't really follow the logic of his argument. The guy from the Concorde said that big acts would not come to Brighton, as there was no 10,000+ venues they could play... Well if you are talking about open air, I reckon there might just be one under construction
