Sport bulletin in the 10 o'clock news just reported Man Utd's 4-1 win over Newcastle.

The rest of the world rightly understands the final score was 5-1. How the f*** do they get that wrong on BBC1 news!

The incompetence of the BBC astounds me sometimes.

I really don't get they have the results on just before MotD. Just ruins the suprise if you don't know the scores already.

They did the whole "look away now" but then decieded that because the Man Utd game was a late kick off they can just openly report on it (by giving the wrong score).

I thought it was ok when they did the look away now thing and there was silence for about 7/8 seconds before movng on to something else rather than just reading out the scores after saying look away now which seems to happen now-a-days.
