The new corporate boxes cost £7 million apparently. That's a similar fee to what Leeds received for Fabien Delph when they sold him to Aston Villa.

Ken Bates is raping Leeds. He's expecting a tilt at promotion this season, yet no big investment in the playing staff. I fancy The Leeds United to finish well below the Albion.

As was said in that thread - it seems strange to be redeveloping the most modern stand and leaving the three most run down stands as they are. However does Bates give a flying one for the ordinary fan? Looks like he just wants his hotel, shops and corporate boxes and the real supporters can do one (that's not a sly dig at our 1901ers by the way, before someone pipes up )

that stand used to look delightful from the outside and the inside - totally bizarre that bates has decided to develop that when the rest of elland road is, for want of a better term, falling down
