That was probably the quietest weve seen Bas play in a while, he really has been our player of the season this year, hes been excellent for us

This wasnt a dig at Bas by the way, i just enojoyed that comedy moment that weve come to expect.

As for the rest of his game, thought him and your captain were the only ones who would ever make anything happen. Bas played some really nice stuff, but whenever we got him around the box he was snuffed out really well. I was impressed with our back 4 today.

Thought his comments on SCR was the most interesting thing he did today.

What did he say on SCR?

I thought he played well today, can't believe some people boo'ed him as he did a very decent job for us. I thought Virgo made it very difficult for him in the air, which really took out most of his threat altogether, but he still had some nice touches and made a few decent runs. Would certainly have him at the Albion right now.

Rich man's Owusu really. Bas was doing the same job, to me did it a lot better. When Ive seen Lloyd (and I understand this isnt all hes on the pitch for) play he just doesnt look like scoring and he isnt really getting in great positions either. We need some goals soon and hes not scoring, Davies is still shaky in front of goal, Glenn's still coming back to fitness/injured again and Foster's injured.

He would only get into our side as a replacement for Davies as he would not be first choice over Murray Forster or Owuso, although we have signed Lloyd Owuso 3 - 5 years too late.

Id have him in for Owusu easily, especially given that was a quiet game for Bas apparently. Oh well, whats done is done.

Owusu is a bit cleverer, Savage is quicker and busier, better dribbler (if unorthodox).

What did he say on SCR?

He was very diplomatic about leaving us last season.

Said that he was disappointed over the contract negotiations, as he was very very happy at the club.

That his agent said the increase in his new contract barely covered a tank of petrol.

That of the two parties involved...(his agent and DK), one took umbrage at what was said, and basically became an obstinant ****.........or polite words to that effect.

I really dont know for certain, which of the two parties involved, he was referring to......but I think I know who he meant.

Very amusing when he just tumbled onto Cox, I half expected Cox to have to be peeled out of a cartoon like inprint in the pitch.
