I think those teams in the bidding for Raya might well decide to go for Sanchez. I think we’re likely to let him go for less than Raya’s rumoured asking price of £40m. That means there is plenty in the keeper kitty to bid £18m or a bit more for this chap.

I think RDZ judges keepers on different metrics to those used to sign Scherpen.

Right. So if we want him, surely we get him . I know Kompany is a big draw but add relegation threat to his appeal. We have RDZ and European football
