They play each other every spanish super cup for 2 legs that's why. One of them wins the league the other wins the cup or one wins both and the other finishes 2nd in the league... So they play each other at least 4 times a year these days. And sometimes more if they draw each other in the cup/champs league!

Hopefully Madrid win but I can see Barca winning this one! Home advantage as well!

Barça's lack of centre backs might prove key. No Puyol or Pique so Mascherano and Song likely to start there. madrid's pace up front might be the key.

Hoping for a Barca win -their league form has been excellent whereas Real have been poor. No Puyol but heard that Pique may play with pain killing injections. I am looking forward to watching this as a pleasant end to celebrating my 50th birthday this weekend.
