I think this is one role where unless he really wanted to be involved in a club that had a higher stature, he couldn't earn more elsewhere. He is one of the highest paid football execs in the world.I've seen plenty of these interviews now where Barber talks about succession plans for every player and people at the club but I've not seen or heard anyone ask him whether there's a succession plan for his job. Is that off-limits?
