Ok, i want to know if people have spotted any of banksy's work around brighton, i know there's the kissing pliceman on the side of the albert, a rat on the basketball court on the seafront and a cat up on the dials-

any more?

Does banksy give you a cirtificate when he graffitis your door or wall? How do you prove it's a Banksy, surely any half decent artist can stencil a rat on a wall.

yeah true, but that could be said of all of his work

Talking of graffiti (and bristol), is that 'mild mild west' thing still on the wall on Cheltenham Road? I used to like that.

Thats why I'm asking. I'm not trying to mug off Banksy or graffiti in general, alot of his stuff is very good, I just don't really understand why everyone wanks over him so much.

well for me its the political stance and the humour that appeals

I know Art Republic sold a Banksy piece about three years ago for between £400 and £600 and it recently went for...

...£104,000 at auction.

RIDICULOUS.

Maybe Dick Knight should start INVESTING in art pieces to fund future transfers.
