Al-Bangura is playing for Apollon Limassol tonight, and Apoel Nicosia have a player called Giggiddy (at least that seems to be how you say it).

Far more exciting than the FA Cup, they've already had the game held up for 10 mins or so due to the sheer number of orange flares (Apoel) thrown on the pitch straight after half time. Smething of an amazing atmosphere to say the very least, and they have no stands behind the goal, and a running track, and no roof. (playing at the AEK stadium in Larnaca for fear of crowd trouble if it was played in Nicosia at the national stadium, which is also Apoels home ground.)

sad to say, there is no-one here who could "do a job", L1 - L2 standard at best

However Daniel Nardiello, Hameur Bouazza, Al Bangura, Danny Mitchley and Joe Martin have all been released.

Bouazza and Bangura could both do a job (although I suspect that Bouazza at least will go to a Championship club). Nardiello has played most of his career in the Championship as well, hasn't he?

According to that article he has signed a 1-year extension. Wouldn't have thought he'd get into their team in the Prem though, so potentially a loan deal?
