Hey, I never said I didn't like them! I kno wpeople that have slagged them off before and, lets face it, they were never huge over here. They had a 'cult' following, but they weren't big really.

There's been loads of reports recently that they're getting back together, but I can't see it. Frank Black and Kim Deal hated each other when they split.

Stunt-Arse; I heard that they have been playing together recently though. Probably the most encouraging reports so far.

I've never met anyone who's slagged them off before. I thought everyone thought they pioneered intelligent alternative rock.

Frank Black has been quoted as saying that they get together and play sometimes, but just for a laugh, and not for public consumption. It is encouraging, and hopefully they'll start writing and performing full time again.

I've given up arguing. Some people just can't be swayed. I know the truth though....:blues:
