They Might Be Giants.

Excellent band! (or duo or whatever they were). "It's the end of the world as we know it!"

showaddywaddy . . . . .when I was 5!

theres loads of hugely under rated bands,

COldplay are hideously over rated, very simple and boring music, but it seems to entertain plenty of people . . .one suspects with small musical brains :D

What in the name of my hairy anus are you on? The Pixies are loved worldwide and are about to re-unite (if cheeky reports are true).

Hey, I never said I didn't like them! I kno wpeople that have slagged them off before and, lets face it, they were never huge over here. They had a 'cult' following, but they weren't big really.

There's been loads of reports recently that they're getting back together, but I can't see it. Frank Black and Kim Deal hated each other when they split.

Hither (sometimes Thither)
Stunt-Arse; I heard that they have been playing together recently though. Probably the most encouraging reports so far.

I've never met anyone who's slagged them off before. I thought everyone thought they pioneered intelligent alternative rock.
I think i would have arguments in your social circles.

:)

Wasn't that REM?

TMBG did Birdhouse In Your Soul amongst other things.

I'll nominate Belle & Sebastian, The Bluetones, and The Pixies.

Yes, I, er, was (hurumph) wondering who would spot my deliberate mistake. Top marks KSA

Kim Deal rocked my world - I kind of like The Breeders after The Pixies split.

Want you, koo koo, Cannonball!
