I would also set up mobile execution squads to massacre everyone with oversized speakers in their car and white walled tyres.

As Dave has the Classic Cadillac Club massacared in their entirity ;)

Edited to say that this is on the assumption that whoever was driving never be allow back onto the roads! :)

I concur!

I have a company car and it is a Micra. If it were banned, perhaps I could have something a little more jazzy....like a Vauxhall Corsa :jester:

I think there may be a few of these going cheap when it is £1,200 a year to tax it.

Haven't I seen loads of those in news footage from Afghanistan?

There's a fine chance of the Chancellor ever putting that amount of tax on any car. He stopped the Forth Road Bridge tolls going up just before the Dunfermline by-election for pure political reasons and saw to it that the Edinburgh Congestion Charge was defeated, when it would have cost motorists just £2 per day with all the money going to public transport. And no, I am not a tree hugger; I drive a 2.0 litre Subaru. As for banning cars, anything with those ridiculous bull bars. Chelsea streets are so dangerous, aren't they?
