This is going to be a massive strength going forward all across the middle mwepu looks far better than those opening games moder too and obviously cucurella and lamptey coming back. This will be huge going forward from now

A hugely impressive cameo from him today after looking a bit shaky in his previous appearances, looks to be settling down and growing into his role

Often the case with players who are doing the "midfield commander" role in a smaller league, they do that just because they are superior to everyone else on the pitch. Then when they move to a bigger league they might get more specialised in one direction or the other. From watching the EFL highlights (which doesnt say a lot but something) and this game, Mwepu might be more attacking midfield/false nine than he is "the new Bissouma". At least currently.
