I know I am, just wondering if I'm alone.

Throughout the series, I'll chuckle at Murali's action, as we cruise through the series. But now we are facing a Test defeat, and a drawn series, all the anger re-surfaces about his blatant chucking.

Hmmm, it's not chucking but I do get annoyed how much his action is protected when there is clearly somethnig wrong. Add Malinga's ridiculous action to that and it's a recipe for ANGER.

Indeed. Let's blame our failure to rack up a decent total in this match on a couple of slightly dodgy bowling actions, rather than some deeply suspect displays of batting.

Well, technically it's not but only because they changed the laws.

They used to allow a 5% straightening of the arm, and his doosra was still getting questioned. Then simultaneously, the powers that be announced that his "doosra" involved a 14% straightening of the arm, and oh yeah, the rules are now that a 15% straightening is permissable.

It may not be a chuck under the rules of the game, but the rules were chaged to make his pitch legal.

Well the ICC have made a bit of a rod for their own backs by the amount of protection he gets.

If Kirtley is a chucker then gawd knows what Malinga is.

I reckon sometimes Malinga lets go of it so much the sight screen doesn't even come into play however if you question the action of any Sri Lankan bowler they'd just walk straight off the pitch.

Not MORE bad losing, even before the world cup starts? Let's face it, Brazil could beat England 8-0 and some stupid people would still blame the ref. Jesus, sometimes the other team is just BETTER.

The commentators said yesterday that the players would be perfectly entitled to request the umpire wears a white tie instead of a black one, as you can lose the ball at the molment of release because he releases it from in front of the unpires chest rather than the sidescreen.

Hey, we haven't played well, I'll happily admit that. Just like I'd admit Argentine in 1986 were a very good side, but it doesn't change the fact that when that fat little shit punched the ball in I felt cheated.

Likewise when Murali skittles us out with a delivery that would be more at home from a knuckle ball pitcher at Yankee Stadium.

Oh dear - bit odd - and very, very arrogant rather than confident - never to admit you were second best on the day. I blame the tabloids.

oh no MOH we're playing badly today, or they had too much of a knees up last night, whatever, but we've been criticising his bowling all weekend, its not 'right' and not even necessary to beat England at the moment !

one does ones best to avoid the tabloids

I happily admit we have been second best since about halfway through day 1. Nothing to do with the tabloids, I don't read them. Facts are we have been beaten by Murali, who has had the laws changed to make his action legal.

I don't see how you can argue that point.

So our failure to establish a sizeable first innings lead was down to Murali? Was it bollocks.
