Back home and apologies

Got back to Yorkshire at 2am after 4 great days down south.

We thoroughly enjoyed the charity match, penalties, beer and sunshine at Burgess Hill.

We equally enjoyed the beer, company, singalong, beer, photographs & beer at the Cobblers Thumb in the evening

Monday's match at Withdean was confidence building. I feel good about this season after watching that (mind you, I am one of life's optimists anyway)

Apologies to Trotster who invited me to the Sportsman afterwards. I had been with the friends I was with since 4.30 and as they wanted to go back to the original pub beer garden we had been to previously, I had to give it a miss.

I am sure you all coped admirably without me


Best of all from a personal point of view, we have found the house we want to buy and have put in an offer
