... and if you listen to one of the radio staions on GTA:VA they have the original reggae track :clap2:

as for BabyD's "underground" tag, it was for about 2 years before being re-released when it finally mad it to No1. What i have never understood is how a track becomes "cheesy" or otherwise inferior as soon as it achives some sucess. :glare:

It's impossible to pick the best dance tune of all time.

Although I would probably nominate 'Bodyrock' by Andy C. That is a f***ing ridiculous tune.

Strike - I've occasionally wondered to myself is how someone your age came to be obsessed with Baby D and Strike and other dance acts I thought everyone had forgotten about. I'm not sure I could tell you what music was in the charts when I was the age you must have been.

How? Why?

Why am I letting these things concern me?

Gah :nono:

Nothing wrong with liking this music for someone my age. I loved this music when it was out, and I rediscovered my taste in this music a few years ago, thanks to a mate who was into house and big beat music. I am not that keen on most music out nowadays. I hate the Garage, RnB and Hip Hop crap that my neighbours play where I live.

I like all that music and I am only a couple of years older than Strike.

Totally agree Strike. Music like that shite that Kevin 'I'm a total ****' Lyttle comes out with is terrible. Imho of course :lolol:

To me, RnB isn't RnB anymore, its commercial twaddle on the whole. Late 80's hip hop from the likes of KRS One, Kool Moe Dee, Big Daddy Kane etc was brilliant, but now, again it's so bloody commercial.

Proper nineties US garage (ie house music) was fantastic. Now, 'garage' is so shit.

Some of the UK Garage that is coming out at the moment is pretty decent, don't let what's in the charts put you off it completely FFS.
