Sky Sports have just shown the goals, and was most impressed with the number of fans we had behind the goal (i thought they'd stick us in that poxy corner stand)

I normally think threads on our away support are gay (;) ) but fair dos everyone who went, brilliant effort

It was a good day and atsmosphere. Didn't see any sign of trouble. Pub was packed before the game, should have gone to the wedding. Good ground and fantastic result.

Good turn out and to think they were in the Champions League semi-final not that long ago.

We are going places with a manager like MM

Phone in after on radio aire just had leeds fans that assumed it was their right to beat us, no credit at all to us even though taken 4 out of 6 points off them. It's like they just do not understand where they are - funny if it wasn't sad

Are we supposed to be winning friends? Taking the mick is all part of being a football fan isn't it?

And , incidentally, on what grounds are they a big club when they are, technically, bankrupt and mid-table in English football's second tier? Are Sheffield Wednesday a big club these days?

Leeds get crowds of 27,000+ for mid-table Championship games. That's a BIG club. And yes, Sheffield Wednesday are a still big club these days. Always have been and always will be.

Nonsense, I was amongst the Leeds fans in the West Stand and the Albion fans comfortably outsung the Leeds fans in parts.

But fair play to you, the Leeds fans were amongst the best home fans we've seen (and heard) this season.

So at what point do Sheffield Wednesday stop being a big club? Or can that never happen because they have a big ground?

Are Preston a big club? Forest? Derby? Wolves despite years of obscurity? Burnley? Portsmouth? Ipswich? Huddersfield?

I understand your point but the fact is Leeds currently are mediocre, have debts that may yet drag them under and are living entirely on past success. In those circumstances, I think it's perfectly fair for them to take a ribbing from well-supported, very skint but sensibly run Brighton, especially as our squad - assembled on a shoestring- hasn't been beaten by them this season.

I sit at the far end and we very rarely hear the away fans. Same as when I've sat at the far end of the east stand you don't hear the kop.

Our debts are now £9m and are significantly less than at least 4 other teams in this league and on a par with the majority of teams, there is no risk of us being dragged under (none more so than anyone else).

Wednesday will stop being a big club when they stop getting big crowds. This season their average is 22,839. That's for mid-table League One football. Their best crowd this season was 28,701. Albion's best-ever average was 25,265 in the top flight. Wednesday are a big club. End of story.

Preston? Not for a very long time. Forest? Still a big club. Derby? Not really. Wolves? Of course they are a big club. Burnley? They haven't been a big club for decades. Portsmouth? Ipswich? Mid-ranking clubs. Huddersfield? Not at all.

You can only judge the size of a club by its support in my opinion.
