No, we MAY sell out at Southampton on November 19th, we will at Palace away and potentially at West Ham but no chance in my eyes of selling out any other away day.

y not? 2500 in the grand scale of things isnt a lot, if it was last yr we would have sold out, cmon people lets get out there

No we wouldn't have sold this out last season. We didn't even sell out Wallsall and that was to win the league. Unless its a big cup game we have hardly ever sold out for teams north of London.

We sold out pompy didn't we? And we had decent turn outs at Cardiff and Bristol!! Agreed we never really sell out outside of a 80-100 mile radius so I would be surprised if we did!!near 2000 will be very good!

No chance of a sell-out at Leicester. People who talk about our 'amazing away support' may be correct on League 1 terms, but the Championship is a different proposition. There are clubs in this division that WILL take 3000+ pretty much anywhere, especially on a Saturday - we're not one of them.

The Amex might, for a while at least, become a limiting factor on our away support - those with financial restrictions, scarce time or a nagging wife may find they are enjoying the home experience so much that they will pick and choose only the most attractive/closest away games to travel to now.

We will as usual have an average away following of approx 1200, same as the last 2 or 3 years. I personally think if you can achieve 1000 at most games, with the half a dozen bigger ones ( Palace, Pompey, WHU... maybe Millwall)... thats not too shabby.

No away games so far nothing planned, apart from plymouth game!
Watched mile oak mid week and my lads sunday team, boys had football training this week also athletics and saturday schools trials.
Next week liverpool, leeds, plymouth and a sunday game.4 in 5!! days can't get away with losing whole saturdays at the moment.
MIGHT TRAVEL LAST QUARTER OF THE SEASON!:moo:

Sadly finances and a house move means my next away game will be Southampton in November. In this division awaydays will be at £50-£60 a pop and I jut do not have the cash. Hoping to pick it up again next year though. I think around about 2000 will be a good turnout on saturday.

The Amex does have an effect methinks. 3 big games in a week next week and that has put the dampers on me being able to go. However someone said we had sold 1800 a few days ago, add the last few days, plus POTG and it looks likely we will have somewhere between 2 - 2.5K up there. Not too shabby is it ?. I think we all recognise we are not Leeds, and even Saints would be considered a relatively BIG club in this division. They took 2680 up there a couple of weeks ago, so I don't think it is too shabby really. I thought the "amazing away support" had something to do with the noise generated as well as the numbers..... but maybe that was me getting the wrong end of the stick ???

I thought nobody could get tickets to away games anymore because all the 1901ers and JCL's take them all?
