Rather than grass to stewards - wouldn't it be better to quietly intimidate any scum discovered in the home end. No need for shouts, coins or anything physical, just a few quiet words that they will be lucky to make it out of the ground alive. Mental torture might make them think twice about it next time and you won't have to worry about being banned etc.

I'm up for that. I reckon they'll absolutely crap themselves when a 34 year old woman suggests they'll never make the station.

They won't. Get tickets I mean.

this. you have to have brought a ticket in the past 3 years, assuming theres any left after those with loyal point have had their chance. who's going to buy a palace fan a ticket? only way i can see palace fans turning up is on a STH ticket or corporate.

have you ever sat in the palace home end though for a brighton game?

Slightly wierd, but I watched a pre-season friendly (Steve Fosters's testimonial?) at the Goldstone against Palace (1994/5?) from the away end with Palace supporting mates.......very very strange experience to be abused by the North Stand during the game!!!

ah ok. I remember going up there when I used to help out with teh Junior Seagulls coach and we were sat in their main stand ( last game of the season when they went up) and it all kicked off behind the left hand goal ( main brighton fans were behind the right hand goal). It was really unpleasant as they were offering us out and this bloke, in his 30's started on one of our 10 year olds. One of our dads threatened to rip this blokes head off and it all turned a bit nasty, luckily they spotted the trouble at the other end of teh ground and made their way down there.

Had a kick about game of footy in the goal at the final whistle whilst the Lincoln were celebrating promotion in front of their main stand.

they were a bunch of neanderthals that day

So far this season I've seen Liverpool and Newcastle fans in the WSU wearing replica shirts so I'm sure we'd welcome some Palace fans up there.
It's along way back down if you don't take the stairs though.

I am intrigued as to what kind of sad fucker wants to wear a premier league shirt while watching a game in which their team is not playing?

I will openly admit, to that being one of my common errors. It's the people who get there and their mixed up that gets on my tits.

Anyway - back to the thread. Interesting that there are a couple of people who think it's OK. So turning the situation round. Will you be sitting in the Palace end, celebrating our goals at their place ?. No , thought not, and if you did..... once again , I would have no sympathy if you got twatted.

This is not Lincoln , Donny , or even saints. I would kind of put up with any of them near me, as long as they were relatively sensible. BUT any game between rivals, this should not happen and is asking for trouble. Seen it happen plenty of times. Just takes one person to start it, and half the stand will pile in. Trouble is some people would be on here after the game, saying.... "terrible fans we have..... knuckle draggers etc"

Nope ... you've lost me rev. Keyboard Bant ?. On the very first post and said I do not go in for the whole Danny Dyer type stuff. Simply have no sympathy for any fan who goes in the away end and makes so much as a murmur. Remember a couple of Port Vale fans in the North stand years ago giving it some. It took just one person to fly at them, and then every bugger wanted a pop at them. They had the cheek to look surprised about it ???

The one thing however I have overlooked , is the fact that they aint going to score against us anyway, so they will have bugger all to celebrate in any case.
