Australian Fires.

The death toll at present stands at 84 however this appears almost certain to rise. The fire service is dealing with scores of fires of which many are cases of arson,in several instances fires have been re-started after being put-out.

Very grim. My brother in laws family on his Australian side has been directly effected. We are trying to get updates at the moment, but are advised an area the size of Kent has been wiped off the map and many didn't get out in time. Death toll in hundreds.

Just found out my cousin and his family have lost their farm but at least they are safe.

They were in Kinglake West and it was really bad there

Have read the BBC link,and quite frankly as some Australian has said this is Murder !
