[TV] Audio Description

Why are we receiving an increasing number of programs which describe what is happening when you can plainly see it for yourself,it is noted that the TV listeners guide show against these shows AD, Audio Description,can this be turned off/on in the same way that Text can?

It's a setting on your TV. Just switch it off.

Yes - equivalent of subtitles. Just turn it off if you don’t need it.

I turned it on by accident once, took about 3 hours to realise what I'd done...

Pick up your remote.
Look for a button that has AD in it.
Press it.
