Me and a workmate were wondering when the last time we had a crowd of 17,000 at a home match...I thought it may have been in the league cup V Man U in the 90's but it got me wondering what our highest attendance has been for the last 30 or so years...I'm sure someone on here must know...

We had 17,500 against Portsmouth in the cup in the same season as the Man U game

Don't think we've had any bigger attendances since then

didnt we have a 18000 plus against bristol rovers??they had the coner by northstand and also some of the east terrace,remember it wasa f***ing roasting day

We had 27/28,000 fans for the Arsenal FA Cup tie in the 87/88 season.

The game the season before in the league maybe,but they got as good as they gave in the cup.

We had Leicester and Swindon in the league cup in 94 (?) with attendances of 17,500 and 16,500 ish IIRC.
