Definitely, I was at a fans forum last season and PB said he wished all home games could be on a friday night, as surprisingly we drink loads of beer on a friday night.

Good old PB,as long as our beer drinking levels are PLR who gives a **** about the pile of turd on the pitch.

It's been noticeable this season that there's much more food in the kiosks in WSU - the stack of Chicken and Ham pie boxes last night was mountainous. It's ironic that just as the club ramps up production to respond to last season's demand, the attendance has dwindled.

Ironic, but poor planning. With squad quality being reduced severely over the last 3 transfer windows, including last Summer as much as before, only the most blue-tinted optimist would have envisaged a play-offs season again or even better. Like any well run medium or large sized business, you would hope that their supplies inwards are planned on likely attendances, based on their experience now of factors such as winter midweek evening games, current league position and recent home results.

Confirmation that just 16,113 went through the turnstile on Tuesday night. Shame we can't compare that with anything other than the last match where we believe it was 19,500 or so.

Would also be interesting also if OP could do a Level Playing Field type graph based on attendance figures as a percentage of capacity.

Why is this relevant. You could put the crowd in Wembley with it's massive capacity, but it doesn't make it a better or worse figure.

Updated for last few games. Now running at 7% below first eight games last season.

Which is precisely the fall in season ticket sales. So actually match day tickets/away tickets on an admittedly small sample of 8 games are same as last season. So far.
