I’m sitting on my own tomorrow in East Lower. I’ll be well atmostphered though as I’m meeting everyone early.

Well the City council's attempt to 'Eurofy' the streets seems to consist of some rather underwhelming 3ft cardboard-like structures in Albion & Europa league colours cable tied to lampposts at ground level, f***ing pathetic it really is.

The last Gyros I had in Brighton was a very poor imitation of the real thing. I can imagine the streets of Brighton ankle deep in discarded "Gyros", thrown away in disgust.

(P.S. Anywhere in Brighton that DOES do a decent gyros?)
No idea I'm afraid. I had my 1st one in 7 years the other week & although it tasted lovely, I'd had a few beers so not in a position to give a 'proper' recommendation! 😀

You are obsessed by the fans tonight. Absolutely obsessed. Why?
It’s the albions first European night? why would we not sing? and not create a good atmosphere. This isn’t a saturday kick off against Fulham… each to their own though. but you’d think it’s a good one tonight

As I normally sit in the North end of the East I’ve been critical of the NS commenting “they’re not as loud as they think they are etc” but last night I took my wife’s guest tickets and sat right near the Greeks and I thought, all things considered the North, and at times the whole ground, was loud

Was superb tonight, deafening at the start, and thought even when we were losing, it was excellent.
Good to hear. Sadly, it didn't come through on the telly at all really. Sounded very flat at times bar the Athens fans. I'm up north and couldn't make the game, but kept thinking while watching that I know I've been at games where the atmosphere's been great and then looked on here and some of those watching on telly have said it sounded flat, so maybe it is actually decent at the game. Where do they put the mics at the Amex!?!
