Worst atmosphere at the amex yet. Thing is if this had been the atmosphere for donny we would be raving about it so no dramas.

Game we expected to win , early goal , led to complacency. I think will be a lot of games with this type of atmosphere , a game like this would of been dead as a donught at withdean.

No fears

This - not every game is special. Liverpool, Donny both are special games. Sunderland to an extent but although the same core of fans will sing game in game out (N1A, some sections of WSU, most of the north stand over a spread) lots of fans who sing for important games like the rest of us are quieter during average games.

Yep quieter, but there is no doubt in my mind that the North is pissing all over WSU. When WSU sing it IS loud but North ding more often. And look better!!

No chance mate , WSU clearly better. Rather not get into it though as we should be as one

Not the real one
Sounded Great on the Radio, constant singing!!

Did the 3 way chant work???

It sounded like some were trying it but people in the North Jumped in when it was the Easts Turn, that is assuming the East sang at all. All in all the atmos sounded great.

Yes it was oddly subdued today- mirrorred by the lethargic performance on the pitch. I think perhaps we're all a bit exhausted after recent events. I'm quite looking forward to the two week break...

Second half i thought it was good in phases.
I think the fact we took the lead early & were in control of the game didn't help the atmo.

Talksport just reported on the Match and commented on the Noisy Home Crowd!?

The crowd was noisy. Just not as noisy as before. When we got the first goal Peterborough pushed us a lot and we sat back. This obviously makes people quieter. Could have done with Buckley coming on as sub a la Doncaster!

Looking forward to the 2 week break!!!!! Are you joking? I can't get enough of this, I'm on cloud nine, I love this stuff sooooooooo much. Anyways, its 3 weeks before the next Amex test not 2, and I do not look forward to the break.

As for the atmosphere today, as others have said, it wasn't like what we have experienced at other games and we didn't play particularly well. But the first few games, plus a cup game against prem opposition were bound to pump things up and what we had today was a workaday performance from the team and the fans. Get used to it, this is regular life at the Amex and I love it. Could do with some more chants though, need to dust off some more heritage chants, great to hear Brighton Aces again.

someone should get a drum in the north stand ???

they had one at bristol city a few years back and it gets people singing and creates a good atmosphere

Pls god don't anyone get a drum...kills the spontenaity of the songs. Have friends who Charlton fans that hate the drumming and his constant requests for money for new skins

For what it is worth I thought the North Stand sounded good today from the WSU (South End) and got the whole crowd going when it was a bit flat.

I think the tension of the game hushed the crowd as Peterboro played some decent stuff and looked dangerous throughout match.

From the family stand the west were quieter than previous and the north not quite up to previous but it was hardly a library. If this is what the Amex sounds like for a quiet game then I will be happy. Yes there are grounds for improvement but lets face it for many this is a new experience in it present format just don't knock each other and keep it up

I agree it wasn't as good but still good as home atmo's go. One thing i noticed is we REALLY need to get more variety of songs going - I know it's hard to get everyone catching on and singing in unison but there were too many alllllllllllbions today - the WSU did get SBTS going late on as well as the other Albion chant = good.

I wasn't there today but that is a good point. I loved the atmosphere at Blackpool but the only chants we managed to get going were 'Albion', the 'We're the West Stand' etc. song and Seagulls. Which is why I enjoyed the Sunderland game so much - it may not have been wall to wall singing at times but we went through the whole backlist of Albion songs which created a brilliant atmosphere.
