Oddly, it was a ground I had never been to. We didn't play them in the years I went to almost every away match. And after, for some reason, I just couldn't be bothered even though it was a new one.

My line managing work colleague who is based in Yorkshire is a Leeds fan of 50 odd years standing. Despite speaking virtually for up to six hours a week, the Leeds visit was the only time we've met properly in person. We both seem to watch each others teams now so I take an interest in how they are doing. They're on the box so much I end up knowing more about them than I do Albion. As we've become such good friends I've moved from being an Un-Leeds fan to wishing them well. It's hard not to when they are just a pleased as I am at Albion doing well and I was told I could just take time off at a moments notice if I did choose to travel to Europe last year. It also helps that my colleague is very rational about them and doesn't have the sense of entitlement we associate with their supporters.
I'm another NSC rarity who quite likes Leeds. I lived there for a few years and used to go to Elland Rd from time to time. Quite a nasty crowd in some ways but they are certainly very loud. I’ve a good mate who's Leeds born and bred. He’s pretty disillusioned with the club at the moment but, like many Leeds fans, absolutely adores Bielsa.

I don’t mind them. Distant family up in West Yorks loyally support them, we had someone work on our house this year who’s a Leeds football and RL supporter, good bloke.

As soon as the first when in, it ramped up superbly. That was one of my favourite halves of football ever at the Amex. Did go quiet just before the end though. Nerves? Idk.

I concur with others that it felt flat as anything straight after HT. Didn't even see our goal go in thanks to the ****s that come back late and stand in people's way EVERY GAME.

It's grim oop north
Our fans in the North singing "is this a library" summed up the first half perfectl.... was really shockingly bad

2nd half, superb

Please get all the singers together for next season in the South stand next to the away end to stop all this double song debacle in the North

Which describes exactly what generates an atmosphere at games. What happens on the pitch dictates what happens off it.

Just listened to the match on BBC Sounds , and the atmosphere was really good in the second half , not much to shout about in the first , even the commentators said how good it was

A lot of crowds are quiet until something is happening. Forest an exception. In all the places I've been to, Leeds is in a class of its own. Deafening. When the equalised against us in 2022 I thought me ears were going to cave in.

Forest fans were very quiet at the Amex the other week. Don't remember them ever being that loud in the Championship either, and the stadium was certainly never full. Think it's more a case of being back in the Prem - we'll see if it lasts
