Depends whether they’ve binned VAR or not. Until then I won’t be sitting in my seat regardless.
I thought they’d already confirmed the whole country isn’t getting the vaccine, over 50’s only, not so ambitious to have them done by Easter!

I think there were plans to turn it into a seated end. Great memories; particularly the cup game in the snow (87?) and the Brazil like demolition under Gus (3-0 ?).

I have to say that home games at the Amex really kept my love of football ignited, made a great day out, and was a real and genuine enjoyment - win or lose (as long as we played well - but clearly winning was preferable)
Now, I feel pretty disconnected watching games on the tellybox played in an empty stadium. I'm not feeling football in general, and I think if I'm honest - neither are the players.
I can't wait for normality to resume, and the first proper game back at the Amex with a full crowd. The atmosphere will be mind-blowing.

It’ll be strange going again, the whole thing with travel.
To be honest I’ve quite enjoyed ‘the rest’, I haven’t exactly missed many Amex Albion wins. Bad fan.
The Arsenal win would’ve been great ... a cornerstone to us staying up and it would’ve been a chance to laugh at Gwen Dozy.

Ten years ago, bloody hell. They were also flying high and were used to steam rolling teams at home. It could quite easily been 6-0, Joe Lewis made a series of amazing saves, we missed a pen and twice hit the crossbar. I forgot until looking at this, that the Alice-banded tart George Boyd got sent off.

Get down to watch some local county league football in the meantime after lockdown. I've rediscovered my love of the amateur game and its great to feel connected to actual local players who live in your area and have a real passion for playing and do so for the enjoyment, not the money.
I've been several times this season watching Shoreham games and it's been great. Inexpensive, gets you out in the fresh air, and lends support to your true local team. Great way to fill in whilst we're away from the Amex in my view and not one over paid prima donna in sight.
Oh, and to answer the question - the early part of season 2021/22.

Definitely this......no VAR either, so the instant, raw emotion of events and decisions which is (or should be) such a part of the game for players and spectators remains

But with reduced capacity as even with the vaccine, until the bulk of the population is vaccinated, I can’t see packed park and ride, or trains, huge queues being allowed. And then as per barber’s mail, you will be allocated a seat, not have your own seat.
Personally, I can’t see myself ever going back on a regular basis. It’s almost as if the habit of going has gone...I only have sky sports now for golf, American football and Eurosport...
