Astroturf booties.......

Ok, i need some new ones,

i play every wednesday on sand based astroturf- but also occassionally play on grass at the weekend, being a pooly student i cant afford bot footy boots and astros, can you wear those moulded stud boots on astro turf?

or am i likely to snap my ankle?

Moulded boots aren't great on the knees if used on astroturf.

Funnioly enough I have been out this lunchtime and bought some Umbro pimple boots for my son - £12 from SoccerWorld. Cheap as chips.

I'd go for the moulded pimple type boots. They work well on all astroturf surfaces and are cheap to buy.
