...but as I typed the above, Scott Dann kindly gave the ball away to Christian Benteke who calmly advanced on goal and scored.

Surprised to see so many empty seats at Selhurst Park for a(nother) relegation six-pointer.

Palace should be about 4-1 up. What they need is a Glenn Murray type to convert all the chances they're creating.

Thankfully Villa are not as awful as palaces despite their having the best fans in the premier league (apparently) although just not many of them :lolol:

How dare you even suggest that Selhurst isn't full. It's as full for Villa as it would be for Chelsea or Arsenal at home. There are no plastic fans or JCLs at Palace. No sir.

Embarrassing this. People in glass houses. Of course the Amex is a cauldron every week.

Get a life! They are in premier league with the possibility of relegation to Championship whereas we are looking at league 1!

FFS. It's a mild dig at those in red & blue who love to tell us how passionately well supported they are at all times, and who like to refer to Albion fans as plastics and JCLs.

The point being that all clubs have their share of fairweather fans...

I thought Palace had passionate fans even though they dont turn up in the Championship or even for a six pointer in the premier league. No doubt their drummer boy is giving it his all :lol:Don't the press talk shite? Now how many were there at Brighton for a championship relegation scrap against Fulham, that's right 29000.
