Big fee and a risk considering his injury history but I think he's exactly the sort of striker we need.

Goes to show what we will have to pay out for a striker!

It's the going rate, and at some point this window we will probably have to pay it. £15m is a big risk for him though with his injury problems.

There has to be a point where this madness will end

That takes their spending over the £30,000,000 mark

Good to see parachute payments being used for their intended purpose again.

Just goes to show what we are up against in the transfer market.
These 'big clubs flexing their money muscles without even breaking into a sweat.
TB, PB & CH have to be frugal and yet competitive enough to get a deal, which can benefit the Albion and keep us in the PL next season.
Well here's hoping anyway

Nothing to do with them being "Big clubs" but everything to do with the ridiculous money in the Premier league. Are Bournemouth now a big club because they spent 20 million on one player?

What will Leeds 'value' Wood at after this??!!!

I'm reliably informed (by NSC) that £10m buys Chris Wood, although others seem to think there's not a lot of value there.

Is that more than they spent in the Prem?

No. Think the net spend was 34m last year. We spent 40 odd. We have already sold this window Rhodes 10m, Espinosa 4m, fisher 3.8m and husband 1m. None of them first choice players.

Spent 14 or 15m Britt, 9m on braithwaite, 5m howson and 2m Christie.

De roon is expected to leave if someone pays his 10m relegation release clause. Most likely go back to Italy.

Still need a gk, cb and a least one winger ojo heavily linked on loan.
