i think you misunderstand the term, i mean that he is most interested in making publicity about himself. an attention seeker.

Though no doubt he could be CIA, really dont need their help publishing information worldwide at the same time. its called a press release and companies and people do this all the time.

I'm curious. How can you quite CLEARLY see that he didn't?

The only thing that is clear is that it might be convenient for some people if he was discredited, but this doesn't mean he didn't do the crime.

Observing this, along with the ridiculous timing of the allegations, makes it quite clear it's just a tactic to detain Assange.

Assange is rejected for asylum at the London Embassy in Ecuador, he is then extradited to Sweden. After a trial, he is found not guilty and then extradited to America to stand trial for crimes against America. He is then found guilty, and America can do whatever she wishes with him, possibly the death penalty, but he could be worth more to them alive.

That is one of the most properly funny comments I have read in a long time......sorry but I have limited empathy with conspiracy theories purely on the basis that almost none are ever proved true (clearly they cannot be disproved because you cannot limit the human imagination).

I was listening to his mummy on the news sticking up for her little boy and accusing America, Sweden, and ourselves of being in cahoots (if true perhaps he should just go home to Australia where he would presumably be "safe"). Everything except suggesting that her son should perhaps disprove the charges against him.

I don't think [MENTION=7]Mustafa Kemal[/MENTION] was suggesting a conspiracy just what is likely to happen. As it goes I agree with him up to the point that he may get the death penalty which I would say is completely out of the question. Assange is a thorn in many a governments side and while they might not conspire they will certainly use due process to ensure he's shut up. You should ask David Kelly - oh you can't because B.Lair had him killed !

If he was being threatened with extradition to some mickey mouse third world country then I could understand it.

But Sweden? Shirley he's going to get fairly treated there, and a fair trial if it goes that far?

He may have sexually assaulted those women, however, the big stories were leaked, the U.S wanted him. Then Sweden just after wants him in for alleged sexual assault. Smells fishy...

So, because he released details of U.S war crimes, HE MUST BE INNOCENT? Just because he did something good, it doesn't negate the fact there's a possibility he may well have sexually assaulted the 2 women.

Not officially, but they're 'investigating'. Simply put, they can call for it if they wish, and the Republicans are gaining momentum ahead of the U.S Presidential elections. And why hasn't he? AFAIK, Sweden doesn't have a death penalty
