Have to say, he looks a bit shirtlifter in that picture, but I saw him at Hartlepool and he went in for every challenge, full on courage, never ducked anything, had lumps kicked out of him and got up straight away every time. For commitment he was immense, but he badly let down by his colleagues, the hole for him to lay off into should have had hendrie in it, or Dicker, but most of the day they just weren't there.

Tough on Ash because he will have few games to prove himself, but under the circumstances on Monday he could hardly have done more.

one criticism, he had an unchallenged chance of a near post glancing header from a corner in front of us in the first half, and he nodded air.

Agree with Seagull Wedgee about Barnes, but after a few nice touches early on Hendrie faded and didn't offer enough support. Barnes showed a good attitude and decent control, hope he gets more opportunities. Also Arismendi looked good, apart from partial responsibility for 2nd goal. What we really need though is 10 Calderons.

Err, coz they're homosexual.

Dear lord. Are you intentionally being thick?

As posted below the most recent sportsman coming out as gay was Gareth Thomas and I can safely say that he would leave you in a bone tangled heap if you ran into each other.

Oh, I forgot. All gay men are like Graham Norton or Julian Clarey.
