Would hazard a guess is it's because we always try to keep potential deals quiet until they're over the line. Would be 10 fixtures, possibly more depending on how they got on in the EFL Cup, factor in his incredibly high wages and his attitude and it all adds up to a deal that doesn't make a lot of sense.

A wage cut could still mean demanding high wages, his weekly at Sunderland was stupid if reports are correct and he moved to earn more! Would not be surprised if he was asking 25-30k per week minimum
