Prompted by the Elton John thread. I don't mean still touring and performing brilliantly. I mean releasing new stuff that is still stunning. Off the top of my head I can't think of anyone famous. I can think of many, famous, who are not releasing brilliant new stuff to match their old:

Van Morrison
Morrisey
Sir Elton
Stones etc etc....the list is endless.

I can think of a few who are, but they are rather niche. Here is one. Lovely.

Edward Ka-Spel/Legendary pink dots (1980-2017 releases):

Any more suggestions?

Richard Hawley gets better and better, having first come to prominace with The Longpigs in the 90s. Elbow have been around for donkeys as well but I prefer their later stuff and (fittingly for this weekend) they are the PERFECT Glasto band. Here are the two of them together from a few years ago.

Buddy Guy. He's well into his 80's now and his last couple of albums have been as good, if not better, than anything he's ever done.

Suede. Their last album, The Blue Hour, is superb. And the last two were pretty good, too. And still fantastic live. Not sure why they're not at Glastonbury when other 'old' acts like the Charlatans are. Suede would wipe the floor with them.

Many thanks for some great shouts.

Mrs T has just got home and has witheringly said to me 'Björk'.

I am ashamed :lolol:
