Whilst Albion have lost their first game on each of the last three seasons, Forest have strung together a hat-trick of victories over Huddersfield, Blackpool and Bristol City, and each was earned without conceding a goal.

Forest have proven to be a tough nut to crack on opening day, having suffered just the one defeat over the last twelve seasons whilst keeping an impressive nine clean sheets in those contests.
