Just on the train back from the Emirates now. My firm has 5 club seats as we did a lot of the planning and transport work for the Stadium. They are normally for entertaining clients but they all seem to be away for half term, so I got to take my two oldest boys. Epic stuff, very entertaining. It bore little resemblance to Withdean but my 14 yo said he preferred watching Brighton cos it's more exciting(!) Good lad!!

Shouldn't you keep that quiet a lot of people have been very critical of the transport link to the Emirates Stadium.

I've only been a couple of times and it has worked fine. If you walk down to Highbury and Islington the crowd thins out enough that there is only a short wait outside the station - not bad for a 60k crowd. It has taken a while for people to optimise their route and mode choice, and sometimes people have unrealisic expectations. The P+R at Withdean is worse for a crowd of 8k!

When he used to do all that "I didn't see anything" *shrug* bollocks routine after every game I thought Wenger was a bit of a twat.

But now he has mellowed, and has pretty much become part of our football furniture, I have a certain amount of respect for Mr Wenger. Hope he sees out the rest of his managerial career over here.

You only don't see his crappy side because right now his team are winning.

When they lose, he's a pratt and a poor sport.

He's a cock. Not as big a cock as the lovely Jens who came out yesterday and basically slated the clubs other goalkeepers but nevertheless still a cock.

Like him or loathe him Wenger has done a phenomenal job.

Almunia did a top job last night. Wenger went out of his way to support Lehmann in his programme notes, obviously written before his latest outburst. Lehmann really is an arrogant s*it of the first order.

Which chairman would not give their right arm for the long-term services of Arsene Wenger ? Not including the crooks and swindlers which admittedley narrows it down a bit. Full stadium, fantastic youth policy, good football, and makes good transfer decisions. Fantastic.
