No sportsman should be give a gong just Because they are good at Sport, they should be rewarded for their other contributions like charity work, eg Rashford.

About as much chance as Fury becoming a Sir, as in no chance! And rightly so...
Personally I feel to award Fury the title of Sir would be a snub to the memory of the boxing Sir - Sir Henry Cooper. Now there was a man of class who deserved his title.

I agree , he’s the last sportsman I would give a knighthood too . His manager is no better either .

That was my feeling, too. For sporting achievement, little Lewis Hamilton has to be next. I don't have a problem with gongs for derring do, but this would feel a bit like a 'you were quite good at boxing and this was a bit of a surprise given your mental health issues' prize. Let him unify the heavyweight division first. Then he can join Sir Lennox Lewis.
