He's going tomorrow- FACT.

That's pretty much a given I'm led to believe BUT what I want to know is will the tired old non-league coaching staff finally be pissing off too?... Please don't tell me any new man will have to work with the current numpties.

If he is going the whole management team should also go including Booker and White.

shame

however, i think the whole coaching structure needs a re-shuffling

it's painfully out dated and there's a fair few people in there who have jobs by default..we could do with some real experience in the PYRAMID beyond the manager to help our players

correct. If Dean White has anything to do with running this team after Adams goes we may as well not bother showing up to any remaining games and plan for league 2 now!!!! Whatever the coaching set up is, it does not work, they cant get the best out of what are actually some good players so let a new man with new ideas bring in his own team.......and hurry up about it!!!

last night he said on SCR that he would be sitting down with the chairman in the next few days to discuss the future...............

Adams on the brink

Micky Adams is on the brink of departing as Albion manager.

His future hinges on a meeting with chairman Dick Knight and the Board.

Adams has not ruled out resigning following tonight’s defeat on penalties after a 1-1 draw at Luton in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy, which ended the Seagulls’ Wembley dream.

Adams said after the game: “The way I am feeling at the moment I will be sitting down with the chairman and the Board to see where we all go.

“Whether it takes place now or on Thursday or Friday I haven’t put a time scale on it but I am sure I will be sitting down with them.”

Adams has previously vowed not to quit. Asked now if he will resign, he refused to comment but said: “The spirit we showed leaves me confident the club will not be relegated.”

Albion’s unfortunate exit from the JP Trophy at Kenilworth Road turned on a controversial straight red card for David Livermore at the end of the first half for a tackle on Michael Spillane.

Adams said: “David intercepted a ball. He had a poor touch but I’ve had a look at the replay and I cannot see the difference between their boy’s tackle and David’s.

“Andy D’Urso (referee) wasn’t sure about the decision. He consulted his linesman, who was closer to the incident but also directly in front of their bench, so I think there was a little bit of influence there.

“David got his marching orders. That changed the game – I could only see one team winning until the sending off.”

Should Adams stay or should he go? Let us know your thoughts.
