After finishing seventh under Wilkins and then so brutally replacing him (right or wrong, still brutal),I would hope for a substantial improvement to justify that; so when I hear the excuses begining to be tried out before the end of May it doesn't fill me with confidence.
There will be people out there expecting MA's return to mean automatic promotion
Anything other than play offs and Adams would have failed.
Disagree, Wilkins had the worst league one that I can remember to compete with. Adams has one of the best. If we finish 7th it will be a good season IMO.
Richie Morris;2427041 As far as Leicester are concerned I would be more worried about MK Dons to be honest.[/QUOTE said:Sorry must disagree with you completely about Leicester as I feel that Leicester will be one of the most likely to go up and that MK Dons will be about midtable especially if as expected Ince moves on.
If we don't make the play-offs next season then Adams' job must be at risk.
I don't think it will. Everyone can see that it will be a much harder job this season and I don't think not getting in the play-offs signifies a bad season. That's in contrast to last season when we had a good chance of getting back in the Championship had the team been managed competantly.
this coming season will be much harder
