Is that the aircraft carrier for which we couldn’t afford any planes?HMS Queen Elizabeth disagrees. more to the point, the capbilities on Falklands would repel the Argentines.

Agreed - but how did things (140% inflation) get this bad in the first place? When things get shit dishonest actors appear and offer simple solutions to complex problems.
because government promised to fix all their problems with copious spending the country cant afford. pretty common theme in South America, spend lots, print money, currency devalues and rampant inflation, default on loans.Agreed - but how did things (140% inflation) get this bad in the first place?
dont remember us not affording them, though many said we should have gone with cheaper option, so we could have more. delays due to technial flaws in the F-35.Is that the aircraft carrier for which we couldn’t afford any planes?
So you don't support the Islanders right to self determination then, cos most of the countries in the world dobout time we gave it back to them to be fair!
Probably better advice than most politicians get.The thing about his dog is absolutely nuts if true. He 'takes advice' from the ghost of his dead dog who he used to feed champagne and he told him to run for president. He had the dog cloned and now holds medium sessions every morning to inform his decisions?!

but we also have less army, navy and airforce capability....apparently he's pragmatic, speaks about needing a dialogue, talk to the Falklanders. sounds like kicking it in the long grass. he knows they dont have the capability - they didnt before so how would they now with less airforce and navy. there's far more pressing issues at home.
It's a little closer than England is.I'm not too hot on the history but do know that Argentina wasn't even a country when they claimed it was inherited from the Spanish. Additionally, their claim based on proximity to the South American mainland is an absolute joke: they are 300 miles away from the closest point of Argentina.
They were uninhabited when the Royal Navy found them in the 17th century. It's a little closer than England is.
