Its like an itch that just HAS to be scratched. I agree though, it is all getting a bit pointless. The stadium is on the way, the board have delivered and the club now has a future. Thats all that matters.

:nono::yawn::nono::rolleyes::yawn::nono:

But they haven't and that is the point both myself and Timbo are trying to make. NOTHING has been delivered! All the while Martin Perry is getting paid (again like Timbo I've no idea how much but I'm sure it's a pretty penny) to get this through 'as quickly as possible'!

It's sad really. If only their parents had ever given them the attention they now so desperately clamour for.

But surely
we have now an application approved and tested through the public enquiry stages;
we have detailed tenders gone out to prospective builders and have agreed to meet with them in "workshops" to finalise the tendering process;
we have the promise of funding from organisations;
we have appointed a leading firm of bean counters to count the beans;
we have agreed a plan with the local authorities, rail authorities and transport authorities for the renewal and development of infrastructure;

We are at the final bit of it all....why are we worried about how long its taken....it doesnt matter now does it?

You can try and come over as self-rightous as you like, I prefer to try and present my DIFFERENT OPINION in a grown up way (apart from the next bit).

Did you go to condescending school with Lord Bracknell?

Nice one Dave, decent post and decent answer.

We certainly have pushed a lot of paper but I feel the business end of things is looking more vague by the minute.

People seem to go all misty eyed when they talk about what Martin Perry has done for the club like he has done it all from the kindness of his own heart.

He has been paid for God knows how long to acheive this. Before anyone starts, No, I don't know how much, but I suspect it's some way above the minimum wage. You've got to ask wether the club is getting value for money?

Well, Timbo, I happen to believe that Mr Perry has earn't every penny he's been paid these many years and has certainly been full value for money.

I go back to the point I made originally, HAD you bothered to attend last night, maybe, just maybe, you'd begin to understand.

I guess it's difficult not to be condescending when you are making so many uninformed ramblings.

I'm sorry, I've tried not to get angry, and I know it's not worth a bite, but this really winds me up.

HOW THE f*** CAN YOU SAY THAT THINGS ARE GETTING MORE VAGUE BY THE MINUTE WHEN THERE WAS A f***ing PRESENTATION LAST NIGHT OF THE POSITION OF DEVELOPMENT ON THE NEW STADIUM WHICH YOU DIDN'T BOTHER TO GO TO.

Apologies one and all. Further apologies if this comes over all Bars Mar and gets converted to every first letter capitalised.

I have been to many of these things and got fed up with inane questions about names of bars and also the standard mad bloke who rants and raves at everything. Last night seems to have ticked those boxes.

You poor wretch if that's the limit of your scope.

Meanwhile, back in reality, there's a stadium about to be built.

You can come too if you want. Really.

No pressure...

So tell me, what did you learn from last night that I don't know about?

Just out of interest did they tell you how much the £40m stadium is going to cost?

Repitition is a well known and proven method when teaching people with learning difficulties.

Not sure what the first bit means.

The rest of it is disappointing. If you hadn't noticed we only get about 4.5k per game nowadays. Still 16 lifts eh?
