your comment about going through the Centre of Brighton would be as nightmare speaks of someone whose never been to a football match in a city before, worts I ever encountered was at Wembley and that had 80,000 people not 22,500!

Driving through Brighton on public transport on a Saturday lunchtime will take ages from Shoreham, There is no other route.

Got myself really sorted.
A Falmer business has let 17 parking spaces for the season. I've got one, my mate has one and 15 others must have got one as they are now fully booked.
If 5 of us go in the car it only costs £2 each parking per match for nearest parking other than the coach car park in the stadium.:falmer:
Glad to see after The Swan other Falmer businesses are seeing the potential benefits of the stadium.

£95 from Shoreham for the season? You've been robbed. The book of 25 vouchers from the club only costs £25 and any public transport can be used.

Does that come with a CHAUFFEUR?

95 smackeroons doesn't sound all that very bad - and more fun than; waiting for bus in rain/walking to station/change at Brighton/leave early for a place on return train to Btn Stn/change platform/walk from Shoreham Stn home or wait for bus ...in the rain.

Not to suggest that the above is not do-able, but a coach from a carvery pub and returning with fellow revellers sounds like a bit more of a partay!

Must agree Buckingham is a much better pub. But tried the train once at Withdean, it was ok going but coming home was a nightmare, Could not get on the train ,ended up going to the Brewery Tap until 9 PM that evening, arrived home out of it.
Quality :lolol:

I love it when you don't plan to get drunk and you end up getting smashed.I'm sure your lass was impressed.

Aer Lingus only have timetables to the middle of next March :(
Off topic for a sec......

Did you know the Irish are the 2nd fattest nation in Europe behind Britain? Quite an achievement for a small nation.

Are these the vouchers that are worth £3 worth of travel?...And if so, has it been confirmed that this is indeed the case? I remember there being a long thread on here a few weeks back which included a lot of speculation but nothing concrete...

I think that was cleared up by saying that within the travel zone they cover the return travel but are worth £3 off coaches from further out. It was on the Albion Roar show.

Ah ok, I never actually bother listening to the 'Albion Roar'!

Are the vouchers valid on the trains outside of the travel-zone?...It would be great to get £3 off the train fare from Worthing!

Albion & England forever.

Any advice on getting to the Amex from Burgess Hill? Don't fancy going to Brighton Station and then changing trains to Falmer Station. Is there any plans to run a coach or a bus to the Amex from these parts?
