Sorry Ninja, I was quoting you to make a point to murraymints4brighton, firstly because of his comments in the McNulty thread and second because his name is too long and that irritates me.

Yep i am a bad loser,i hate losing,so i try my damn hardest not to lose,if only we had 11 bad losers on a saturday.

I was just thinking about one time I walked into a cafe where there was a chess club thing going on. I knew a girl there, and when she asked if I would like to play I said yes.... but instead of me and her she set me down with some geeky looking bloke with glasses drumming his fingers and looking fairly smug.
Anyway, this wasn't really all that interesting to me so I got it over with quick.
The bloke knows nothing about me or how I play, but he says after our game "I can't believe it" and was clearly crestfallen. Well it's not like I'm a brilliant chess player particularly, but why should he have expected to win against a complete stranger he's never played before?
I was just happy to hit the road asap.
Looking back though, it added a bit more satisfaction to know that my opponent had expected to beat me.
