Everybody has been saying this for a long time and it was even clear last season. All areas of the team were improved in the off-season EXCEPT the one glaring biggest weakness

We need the midfielders to start chipping in. Why is the tallest player in the side, Hammond not told to get in the box for corners & free kicks.

I'm also unable to go very much these days but from what I've seen on t.v and from what I've heard from my season ticket mates is we are nearly the finished article, just a clinical striker and maybe another creative midfielder away from oozing swagger juice all over this league and then the prem.
And just like a washing machine opened mid cycle, I predict our juice will flood Selhurst park next Saturday and wash the pikeys away.

The thing that worries me is that the players mentioned may not hang around next season in the Championship, then we would have to rebuild again.
