There are other strikers that are better than Murray i.e Lambert.

sorry mate disagree with you he would be the best striker in div one and will score goals at his best when he is back fit and not rushed back
I presume that last part was aimed at me. Yes. That is the thread title, but the answer can quite easily be:
"No, Dickinson and Forster together have scored 5 goals in 6 games, a good return, when the rest of the team chip in a few we can really push on"
or
"Since he was dropped from the squad we started to gain points, perhaps we're better off without him"
or probably a whole bunch of other answers putting forward something new.

People who think Murray is the best striker in League 1, fit or otherwise, are fooling themselves. Every club probably has a player who the fans would say the same about. Frankly, Murray is not the best striker at Brighton, even if he is technically the most gifted.

Could have done with SOMEONE in the middle of the box yesterday. Fair few sitters went begging in the area in the second half. And there wasn't anybody smart enough to take advantage when their keeper took forever to lumber back to his goal after coming up for a corner at the end.
